COLLEGE GRADUATE PHOTOS

Saturday I got to go take graduation pictures for a very sweet young woman.  Shelby's graduation is nearing and she is so excited.  I know her parents are beyond proud of her and rightly so.  She has worked hard and is moving forward.  I pray God will bless her in all she does and that she will completely follow Him for direction.  She is such a beautiful girl and I know God has great plans for her future.
These are some of my favorites from all the shots I got.

This next shot is where I squatted down to get the best angle and where my keys fell out of my pocket.  Didnt know about that for a good 15 minutes or more.  Then we had to back track.  Well actually her little brother went back to look for me but was unsuccessful.  :(     However we when were almost finished we stopped back by the spot where I felt they likely were and checked it out.  Thats when Rayce found them!  Much to my relief.  I gave him a nice crisp ten dollar bill for the feat!  Thanks Rayce!   Lesson learned.  I will be using a back pack from now on when I take pictures instead of my pockets.

CONGRATULATIONS SHELBY!

There Ya Go

Mark set up the horseshoes for us.
I love playing these outdoor games.  I am not very good at any of them but they are fun anyway.

In these next two pictures you will see the face Todd makes with each toss of the horseshoe.  :)

Yes I guess that was a good shot...

 Checking to see whose point?

If only my back yard was beautiful.  But when you think about it what could make a yard more beautiful than family in it.  So there ya go.

What a Church What a Family What a God

This is our Pastor Danny Reed.

And This is Lance Hula.  He is our Youth Pastor

Do you guys see the smiles on those faces?  I can show you why...

There has been a lot of this going on lately at Cornerstone Church.

Matthew 28:19-20

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Pastor Danny has asked me to go back and photograph these precious souls at their Baptism.  It has been a blessing.  Of course for the reason of the symbolism of a life cleansed and renewed, yes!

But something I have found as I am back there with those at their baptisms is this huge outpouring of love.  I can say I am blessed to be up close and personal, watching our Pastors as they perform this honor.  I know they are loving guys who love Jesus and others well.  Yes they are, but it is something special to see and I wish you could see it for yourselves. Gods amazing love being shared, poured out.

1 Peter 4:8  Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.

I am thankful to be a part of this family at Cornerstone Church.
What a church! What a family! What a God!

Shoulda Woulda Coulda

Well this shoulda been an Easter post.  It woulda been an Easter post if it coulda been.  However since I was laid up in the bed on Easter then its not an Easter post.  Yea my big plans for a big family dinner with a lot of my peeps was hindered greatly by this little thing called the FLU!  YUK!

So instead of the great family photo I had planned to be taken in front of my beautiful Azalea Bush.  Yea, I was in the bed.  And once I got out of the bed back to the land of the living the azaleas were drooping and sad.  Sigh...  Honestly I was a little sad about missing the family fun.  Really I was.  I am glad they still had fun and I did enjoy hearing the laughter and commotion from my bedroom.

But on to better things.  I did get to make some pictures of family fun from a few weeks before Easter so thats what we are gonna go with.

This is our new thing.

Croquet.

Todd and Mickey played a lot when they were kids.  We were sure looking forward to playing with their parents involved on Easter but I have already mentioned that.  (By the way, I am REALLY glad they decided against coming on to our house on Easter since it turned out that I had the flu!)

Anyway these guys get pretty serious about this stuff.  You should hear the strategizing going on.

I like to play but I love watching everyone else play more.

Avery and I cheering them on.

Good shot!

I did win a game though!  I beat Josh, yes I did.  Go me, go me, go me!

I have no idea what this was about...
And of course Todd showed us his skills.

And who knew Charlie had skills too???

This is Casey "sending" someone!  Yay!!!!!!!!

More strategy...

I love this picture with all the shadows in the yard.  Thats me at the bottom left of the photo taking the shot of Tance taking the shot!

It was a beautiful day and I am glad we got to enjoy it.  I missed Easter this year but there is next year.  And I know we will get together again soon.  I will see to it.
