The faces he makes when he is concentrating really hard on something crack me up.

Avery enjoyed watching her Poppa juggle. So did Nonna!
My life as a child of the King, a wife, a mom, and a Nonna - and how JESUS IS in every part.

I caught up with her and directed her over to the side so we didnt end up in the prom pictures. She sat down to watch, amazed. I asked her if she would one day be a princess like that. Then a solemn face. "I dont have pink shoes"
I said "Well your mommy can get you some." Then with the same sad face, "I dont have a princess outfit." I replied, "You can get one." Then with the same countenance "I dont have pretty earrings." I assured her it would be okay and she would be able to get all the things she needed. Then she said "Can I go touch her?"
As we left she was happy to see there were other princesses there as well.
She is getting better at navigating that Barbie Car although not a great driver yet. She was so excited when the little guy from down the street came to play. This is Hay. Thats what Avery calls him. I couldnt resist posting this photo. hehehe
She loved throwing the ball with him.
She pretty much just enjoys it when he comes down here to hang out. I think he likes it too.

"The Mississippi River" Um, dont think so. But Avery did. So she called and called for her. She looked in the Gazebo.
She looked under the bridge.
She sang to her hoping she would come.
She danced for her hoping she would come.
Nothing seemed to work.

She had a great time running through there
trying not to get splashed by the shooting fountains.
She did get a little wet.
Okay a lot wet,
but it was fun and thats what Nonnas are for right?
We made a quick stop by Picket Fence to see if there was a cute little outfit we could change into since she was soaked. They had the cutest little watermelon dress so we got it. She looks adorable in it and it was much more comfortable since it was dry. Now of course to me, the dress was the purpose for the visit to Picket Fence. But Avery was still searching for "The Real Mermaid" She asked Joanie who was working that day if she was there but she wasnt.
