Running Riding Throwing

Saturday we went to visit with Todd parents.

They have had this plaque for AGES!

Avery had a great time running around.

Todd got to relax and rest a little bit.  It was very nice there on the porch.  I wish I had a porch.

I rode on the 4 wheeler with Ryan our nephew.  It was fun.  A little scary.  You know the fast part had me imagining crashing and bones breaking... But there was no crashing.  The ride back in the woods was so nice.

Much to Avery's delight there were dogs to play with.  She was happy to throw the tennis ball and watch Kaytlins dog Zeus pick it up with his teeth and bring it back.

Or throw the soccer ball and watch him pick it up with his teeth and bring it back.

However when Zeus started chasing her you would hear screams---

 and see these faces...

Maybe she thought Zeus was going to pick her up with his teeth and bring her back...

The Ballet Recital

What do you do for a Ballet recital?  Well first of all, a girl has got to get her makeup on.

Uncle Josh wasnt so pleased with this idea.  But its fun for a four year old to fancy it up every now and then.
Avery seemed to enjoy the whole idea.

After hair and makeup we got a bite to eat and before heading to the auditorium we stopped by a pretty place for just a few pictures.  We parked and walked over and I suggested to Avery that she go stand by the hydrangeas for a few pictures - AND THE SHOW HAD BEGUN.
This little dancer started with the posing and the moves until I was cracking up.  I never had to tell her how to stand or what to do she just started posing and I started shooting.

I love this shot because of that perfectly real smile.  This girl loves to dance.

You would certainly think some of these shots were staged, but seriously she did all of this I just aimed my camera at her.

Then on to the recital.  When we got there she found her name on her chair and low and behold there were treats for her there!
She seemed very pleasantly surprised that she had flowers!
And then got more flowers from Nonna & Poppa and a rose from Daddy.  She loved them!  How fun.
We enjoyed the show especially her parts.  She did very well, kept up, and did everything right as far as we could tell.  We were all very proud, pleased, and blessed beyond measure to be able to watch her.  Things like that always make me think back to that tiny frail 2 pound baby. What a long way she has come.  Thanks be to God!

Church In The Wind

This past Sunday our church hosted Church In The Wind.  This is a church Pastored by this Man here with Todd, Pastor T.  His church is made up of Bikers!

Doesnt Todd look so small next to him?  Wow.  I seriously loved his sermon.  It was all about the precious LOVE of  Jesus.  In particular it was about the 5th sparrow in the Bible where you could buy two sparrows for a penny, and 5 sparrows for 2 pennies. He told us how that extra sparrow was thrown in the mix because it was pretty worthless and the people selling them may just rather not have to be bothered with it.  He related that to some people who satan has fooled into believing that they are like that 5th sparrow.  They feel worthless and like people would rather not be bothered with them.  I had never heard that spoken on before and really as I said before really saw the LOVE of Jesus there.
Todd and I enjoyed the service and the activities after the service.  I took photographs along with some other sweet ladies while the "Bikers" involved went on a ride.  This is our Youth Pastor, Lance

This is our friend Larry

Linda and Joe came up from Woodville to join the fun.

Then all the bikers came back to the Vidalia Riverfront and had bike games.

I dont know this guy but I like these pictures.
There were many bikers at our church Sunday that I didnt know and we were happy to have them.

This is Jacob.  He did good getting that helmet in the can.

Everyone had a good time, even though it was HOT.

This little sweetie is Justice.  She belongs to one of our sweet members and we got to go see her just after she was born.  She is so precious and Todd loves to get to hold her.  I enjoy her too.  And look at those eyes!  I love this picture. She enjoyed our day with the Bikers too!
You know I gotta have a picture of a beautiful blue eyed sweet girl every now and then.  :)

So maybe next time we host Church In The Wind Todd will be able to participate in the ride on his bike.  At least thats what he would LOVE to be able to do.
Who knows, as he always says, 'Today could be the day'.
